I cannot recommend Kallara highly enough what a wonderful station and experience and the hosts are literally the most friendly and lovely people on the planet! Thanks to lovely Julie for popping us on an amazing camping spot and we stayed for nearly 2 weeks! Great facilities to pop in from camp for a shower and heaps to see and the boys working in the shed even helped me to drill a tow bar which was quite a job and they took it off me and said take us 5 minutes!! True outback hospitality on one of Australia’s great Darling River stations. Highly Recommend.

We had an awesome stay at Kallara recently whilst travelling #TheDarlingRiverRun, we stayed in the lodge, and it was perfect for our family of 4. Really a home away from home situated on the banks of the Darling. Kids went fishing, Kayaking and a ride on our bikes. The hosts Jules and Justin couldn’t be more helpful and took time to explain the farming operation and provided a mud map for a self-drive tour, plenty to see on 300,000 acres. Situated on the Western side of the river only a short drive to Tilpa, a nice spot for a cold beer and feed. If you are thinking of heading Down the Darling, I cannot recommend Kallara enough.

Great campsite. We stayed there with family and friends and loved every minute. Planning on going back next year hopefully! Keep your eye out for emu's swimming through the river

A great farm stay with cabins and camping sites both powered and not. You can stay close to the main house or venture along the Darling River and camp in a secluded spot. Very reasonable rates for camping.
